I just picked up a order literally & I tried calling because I have to tell them this is the BEST hotdog ever. I never knew how good a Chicago hot dog could actually be let alone a hotdog with chili and onion yummy Yum

The menu and service were ahead of my expectations. I surely loved the ambience of this restaurant. Wonderful place to take the family out for dinner.

Great dogs, great variety. The Hula Dog is outstanding, surprising hot kick balanced by the sweet and tangy grilled pineapple. Don't forget the homemade chips! They trounce french fries from anywhere else.

Ordered on June 25th around 2:30pm. I arrived and was waiting for my order in the parking lot (thank you for actually having a parking lot...it’s so nice to not have to deal with street parking!!) and an employee came out very quickly without me even asking!! I really appreciate the prompt and professional service. It’s wonderful to have your meal brought out sooooo quickly and efficiently during covid AND without even having to ask!!! Some of the best service I’ve seen during covid!!! No chaos, confusion or long line...food was hot, very fresh and packaged very well. Also, they did it forget condiments or plastic utensils!! Employee was very polite and did an excellent job! Highly recommend this place. I currently live in Chicago but come to Michigan a lot...these dogs taste just like the ones in Chicago...actually better! Thanks for a great experience and terrific service!

They have weird hours but if you can make it go! Loved my meal here. The chips were incredible and the hot dogs lived to my expectations, some of the best chili I've had. Run by an incredibly nice staff as well. Loved atomic dawg.

We had a good visit for our first time at this joint, but before leaving noticed that we were missing one of the dogs we ordered! Luckily, they made it pretty quick, but missed putting the cheese on it. They were accommodating to our Keto requests and the food was good! I ordered the Chicago and forgot how much sugar there is in the relish! Good place!

We drove to Berkley Michigan to try our Atomic Dawg during the pandemic. Inside serving was not available because of Covid-19, but we were met outside the front door by a friendly hostess. They have a limited menu now, but there was still a variety of choices available. They were currently only open for lunch, so I would suggest calling first.We each chose the "Swanky Franky", a grilled atomic dawg wrapped with bourbon smoked bacon and topped with jalapeno lava cheddar. It was delicious. The cheese had just a little bit of kick from the jalapeno to give it flavor.Other notes: They had a wide variety of canned soft drinks. Their regular menu shows beer and other alcohol, but I'm not sure what is available for carry-out. Also, there is parking available to the left of the building, as well as on the street.

The burger was good and the home made potato chips were unique. Overall good experience.

Atomic Dawg is delightful hidden gem. Looking forward to a return visit so that I can try other menu items. Could be a little friendlier to new customers, hence four stars instead of five.

Fun retro atmosphere with just the right touch of kitch. I had the mini burgers, char grilled with lettuce, tomato, and onion on a toasted bun. Delicious! I also had the crisp, flavorful vinegar based coleslaw, and the "slips" which are thinly sliced potatoes lightly fried. They are slightly crisp like chips, but softer. Really good, not greasy. I would really recommend this cute, friendly diner for everyone! They are now serving beer, wine, and cocktails as well so it makes for a fun date night or meet up spot for friends. Cool place!

Hands down best burger and the people are simply great

Atomic Dawg is a cozy restaurant serving a variety of hot dogs with numerous toppings. They also have vegan dogs & vegetarian sliders. I had a decadent 6 cheese grilled cheese on challah bread with tomatoes; grilled onion was added upon request. I also ordered potato crisps (thinly sliced, deep fried potatoes) that were completely addictive!!! The dining area was reached by a short flight of stairs & was neat & clean. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely dine at Atomic Dawg again!

This is a fantastic little neighborhood restaurant that has awesome burgers and dogs. It has a great atmosphere and has two upstairs dining rooms, so don't be fooled by the handful of tables by the counter. We both had burgers and they were fantastic. I had the Gouda Bacon burger and my wife had the Atomic Blue. Both were cooked and seasoned to perfection. We will be back. I highly recommend this place if you want burgers done right.

Gave it a whirl for work. Ordered for for 8 people. One burger was completely missing. One burger was missing the top bun(pic). The flavors were good. Burgers were a touch on the well done side. Staff was pleasant when food was picked up. Should of known to double check the order.

YUM! I have been here two times so far and I love it! They have a decent sized fun menu and even though the parking is limited and the place looks small, there is plenty of seating inside. So far I had a Sausage of the Week (unfortunately I can’t remember what it was, but trust me, it was fantastic!) and the Swanky Franky (grilled Atomic wrapped with bourbon smoked bacon and topped with jalapeno lava cheddar). I cannot wait to go back to try the Hula Dawg (teriyaki sauce, grilled pineapple, grilled onions, lettuce and Japanese cherry mayo). Also, be sure to order the McClure’s deep fried pickles, they were great!

Best hot dogs ever... Period. I grew up in Chicago and have always loved the Chicago style dog. I've been to several hot dog joints around the Chicagoland area, none compare to Atomic Dawg. Having tried the Coney style at many places around Detroit (including Lafayette), I think Atomic Dawg does it best. The quality of their ingredients is what does it for me, and the service has always been great!

The mushroom burger with the French name I can't pronounce was fantastic! Good chips and chili. The cheese to go with the chips was good. I went here for a poetry and music event and it was fun! The space is a little small and drinks are a bit overpriced for my tasts but the burgers are excellent and the dogs are pretty good.

Delicious food. I had the classic burger with cheese and my husband had the atomic blue burger. Both were delicious and generously portioned. What you’re getting for what you’re paying is the best burger deal in town. Can’t wait to go back and try their hot dogs and shakes! Very friendly staff and cool vibe. There’s a huge seating area upstairs from where you order, so you can plan to dine in!
